Concept
The luminaire emits diffuse light, primarily directed downwards. The patterns of the three-laser-cut acrylic umbrellas were meticulously shifted against each other to exclude unpleasant dazzling by the light source. The patterns of the umbrellas are individual, resulting in different experiences of light and shadow formation. A soft, pleasant light is achieved by mounting the optional lower glare shield.
